Testimonies of Healing

Knowing that testimonies of Christian Science healing are positive proofs of the power of divine Science and of God's care for His children, I offer this testimony. In rearing our family of four children we have had many such proofs.

It is difficult to find words with which to express my gratitude for the spiritual unfoldment Christian Science has brought into my life. It came to me when nothing else could have helped, and I had a wonderful awakening to the truth it teaches.

" Many , O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered" ( Ps. 40:5 ).

In May, 1930, I became acquainted with Christian Science. A friend of mine was very ill and had found that medical treatment was of no help to her.

I am grateful for Christian Science. Through it I have had healings of various kinds, and faults of disposition have been corrected.

When I was a child my mother sent me to a Christian Science Sunday School for a short time; but I did not become interested in the teachings of Science until I began to search for a goal in life and for a constant and unfailing guide. At first my interest in this Science was manifested only in the desire to argue against it.

Christian Science has protected me and provided me with a chart and compass for guidance through the mazes of human problems for many years. With gratitude to God for Christ Jesus, who gave us Christianity, and for Mary Baker Eddy, who through her textbook, Science and Health, gave us the Science of Christianity, I wish to share a few of my blessings.

Since becoming a student of Christian Science I have experienced many proofs of its healing and protective power. It is therefore with a grateful heart and with the hope of helping others that I write this testimony.

I should like to tell of three of the many healings I have received which have proved to me the healing power of Christian Science. A number of years ago I noticed a lump on my side about the size of a marble.
