Testimonies of Healing

The day that Christian Science was introduced to me marked the beginning of a complete reformation in my life. When my baby was but a few weeks old I was told that she had an incurable heart condition.

After spending many years of discomfort while seeking medical relief, I was healed through Christian Science of a severe stomach trouble. This healing was accomplished through the prayers of a Christian Science practitioner.

With great joy and gratitude I testify that Christian Science has met my every need, physical, moral, and spiritual, since I took up an earnest study of it more than twelve years ago. Two outstanding healings come to my thought.

It is with a sincere and humble desire to share with others the blessings which have come to me through the teachings and application of Christian Science that I give my testimony. Although I have had many healings, the most outstanding one was that of a disease of the spine with complications, including paralysis in various parts of the body.

A number of years ago I was confined to my home because of illness. Among my friends was a prominent physician, who diagnosed my case as a very serious condition of the heart, as well as stomach ulcers and an advanced case of Bright's disease.

I attended the Christian Science Sunday School from the age of four and also had the guidance of two devout students of Christian Science, my grandmother, who was a practitioner and pioneer in the movement, and my mother.
