Testimonies of Healing

It is in deep gratitude to God for Christian Science that I wish to add my testimony. This Science has been my only physician for over forty years.

It is over twenty years since I began to study Christian Science. As I think back over my progress, I feel much as some of the children of Israel must have felt when they had been led out of the land of bondage.

"' Now ,' cried the apostle, 'is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation,'—meaning, not that now men must prepare for a future-world salvation, or safety, but that now is the time in which to experience that salvation in spirit and in life. " In the past twenty-seven years I have been able to prove these words from page 39 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and we have had many healings for which we are very grateful.

I wish to express my gratitude for the many blessings we have received through the study of Christian Science. I am grateful for the privilege of becoming acquainted with a practitioner in 1918, when I received my first healing, an almost instantaneous one of influenza.

Through this testimony I wish to express my gratitude to God for His many blessings. I find through the study of Science and Health and the other writings of Mrs.

When our boy developed mastoiditis in both ears, he was placed under the care of an ear specialist, who tried numerous material remedies, including X-ray therapy, but the condition grew worse. The physician then informed us that an immediate operation was necessary, but he despaired of a complete healing.

I am grateful that our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, has provided us with this means of giving testimony to the world. Only God can measure my gratitude for Christian Science, and I know He will enable me so to express myself that others will be encouraged and healed through reading of my healings.

My thoughts go out in loving appreciation to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for her gift to the world of Science and Health.

In gratitude to God I give this testimony. Many years ago, after an operation in a hospital, I realized that I probably would not recover.

My parents took up the study of Christian Science when I was one year old, as a result of a healing experienced by my father. I started attending Sunday School when I was three, and for this early start in Christian Science I am most grateful.
