Testimonies of Healing
Christian Science has helped me in every way since I took up its study nearly twenty-eight years ago. Although I had been brought up as a nonconformist and had taught for several years in Sunday School, I had really lost all my old blind faith.
Among the many blessings which God has bestowed upon me through the teachings of Christian Science are a happy home wherein the members are working Christian Scientists, membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, class instruction, and the ability through reflection to follow the command of Jesus to heal the sick and the sinning. Truly, my eyes have been opened to "behold wondrous things out of thy law" ( Ps.
I wish to express humble gratitude for the many healings I have experienced in Christian Science. It was about thirteen years ago that I attended my first lecture and became much interested.
During the First World War, while living in Seattle, I heard much arguing for and against Christian Science by various members of my husband's family. It aroused in me a curiosity to learn more about this Science which had created so much controversial conversation.

It is a privilege to acknowledge the daily joyousness of living and all the healings that have come to me in Christian Science. Nothing could compare with the cognition that one does not need to fear anything, since God is good.
I feel a close relationship with those men and women whose testimonies compose the last chapter of our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by our revered and beloved Mary Baker Eddy, for like many of them I long ago received a healing at my first reading of that unique and remarkable book. A serious trouble with my eyes had threatened to end my scholastic career.
