Testimonies of Healing

After hearing a lecture on Christian Science, I earnestly began its study. I felt that it could do for me all that the lecturer promised.

" Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. " God's promise, voiced by the prophet Isaiah, has been fulfilled in my experience through the study of Christian Science.

For the last twelve years, Christian Science has meant everything to me. My first healing was of scrofulous glands, from which I had suffered throughout my childhood.

It is with profound gratitude to God for the healing power of Christian Science and the joy it has brought to our household that I offer the following testimony. Today we sing with the Psalmist: "Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

For twenty years I have received the blessings to be derived from the teachings of Christian Science, and I should like to share the following testimony. I was brought up in a strict New England home in which the verdicts of human will and discipline were enforced to a great extent, resulting in a somewhat unhappy childhood.

For many years I not only refused to accept Christian Science, but was very antagonistic towards what I thought it to be. One day I was told by a physician that I had a serious case of blood poisoning and would need to go to a hospital at once.

The many blessings that Christian Science has brought into my life fill my heart with gratitude, and I wish to express my appreciation for the help, support, and comfort which Christian Science has given me during the past year. After our son, a Marine, had been listed as missing for nearly a year, we received news that he was alive and a prisoner in the Philippine Islands.

Because Christian Science has come to this age, and "the 'still, small voice' of scientific thought reaches over continent and ocean to the globe's remotest bound" (Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, p.

During a holiday season I became ill with influenza. With Christian Science help I was able to return to work after remaining home one day.
