Testimonies of Healing

For a long time it has been my desire to express my gratitude for the healings and blessings that have come to me through Christian Science. My first healing occurred when a relative who was a Christian Scientist visited our home.

With every passing day I feel deeper gratitude to divine Love for the many rich blessings which have been mine since I began the earnest study of the LessonSermon in the Christian Science Quarterly. Many physical ailments, including colds, sprained ankle, toothache, headaches, indigestion, and insomnia have been quickly and permanently healed.

Since I took up the study of Christian Science several years ago, my life has been one of such daily development that the many demonstrations making that change form one beautiful pattern. I came into Science seeking a way out of the many inharmonies which were destroying the substantial and sure foundation upon which my life had been built.

In humble gratitude to God I wish to testify to 'the healing truth of Christian Science. I had been suffering physically and mentally over a period of many years from several sicknesses and disappointment, when a kind friend wrote me about Christian Science.

It was about twelve years ago that I noticed an announcement of a forthcoming Christian Science lecture. I noted the date and mentioned it to a friend.

So many healings have occurred in our family as a result of Christian Science that I could not relate them all. I was a practicing dental hygienist when this Science was called to my attention through my father's healing of hernia.

Each day I realize anew the importance of Christian Science in my life. I know that I am experiencing a more abundant life through its sincere study and application.

In humble gratitude I wish to give this testimony of my healing in Christian Science. About four years ago I became ill with what seemed to me to be a serious nervous condition.

When I was about twelve years old. my mother was ill in bed for two years.

For twelve years I have enjoyed reading the testimonies of healing published in the Christian Science periodicals and listening to those given at the Wednesday evening meetings. Now I have come to the conclusion that I am not doing my part if I neglect any longer to share with others some of the blessings I have received through the study and practice of Christian Science.
