Christian Science came to me in answer to prayer, at a time of great need. I thank God daily for His priceless gift, and am indeed grateful that Mrs.
To state properly and adequately my sincere and lasting appreciation for all the good that has come to me and mine through Christian Science seems a task well-nigh impossible of accomplishment. Words do not seem to convey more than a modicum of the abiding gratitude I wish to express.
My gratitude to the Discoverer, Founder, and Leader of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy, knows no bounds. Christian Science has brought such an abundance of good into my life that I am impelled to write this testimony.
I wish to express my unbounded gratitude to God for Christian Science and for Mrs. Eddy, our dear Leader, who by her revelation of Truth to mankind has enabled us to understand and demonstrate the power and presence of God to heal sickness, sin, and inharmony of any name or nature.
Someone has said, "Testing times come to us no oftener nor more violently than is needed to make us listen and obey. " Because such a testing time came to me a few years ago, and I know that I can never be sufficiently grateful to God for His love and care during that experience, it is my desire that this testimony may bear a helpful message of encouragement to others.
Knowing the genuine inspiration gained through these columns, I am profoundly grateful for this privilege of expressing thanks for Christian Science and enumerating some of the many blessings experienced since I became interested in it, nineteen years ago. It was presented to me by a dear relative in Colorado, where I had taken a very young daughter, who had developed a "bad lung" from influenza.
" Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy. " While reading this verse from Psalms recently I was reminded of the fact that I have never openly expressed my gratitude for the spiritual understanding of God, good, as taught in Christian Science, which carried me through a very difficult experience and saved my life.
My heart overflows with gratitude for the constant and abundant good which comes to us through the many activities in the Christian Science movement. "Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord.
I should like to express my humble appreciation for all that Christian Science has done for me during the past thirteen years. I was seeking the understanding of my true selfhood when I began to study Science.
I should like to add my hymn of praise and gratitude for the many blessings I have received since taking up the study of Christian Science. Its clear, logical reasoning definitely refutes every argument of evil.
