With thankfulness to God, and gratitude to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, I send this testimony of the healing of my little girl. She was very ill, and her life had been despaired of by several physicians, including specialists. They said there had been an internal abscess which had opened, causing septic poison, and that this accounted for the high fever. One physician said she had lung trouble, as she coughed a great deal, and I was told to make her as happy as possible, for she would live only a little longer and there was nothing more to be done for her.
Christian Science treatment was then asked for. Improvement began at once, and in six weeks the child was healed. That was in December, 1912. She has attended school regularly ever since, and was passed as normal by the examining physicians. Besides this, we have received many blessings. I can express my gratitude only by trying to live the right life and to help others as I have been helped. — New Orleans, La.
