I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science because of the many physical healings it has brought to me, and also because of the wonderful sustaining power it has given me in many kinds of problems, proving to me that God is a very present help in trouble.
In the year 1918, according to the diagnosis of my physician I was afflicted with tuberculosis of the lungs. After having medical treatment for almost a year and receiving no relief I turned to Christian Science, and in a short time was completely, healed. This healing has been permanent. A few years ago, having been compelled to undergo a physical examination, I was pronounced by the examining physician to be in perfect condition. Influenza in a very severe form manifested itself at one time, but was quickly overcome with the help of a kind practitioner.
When my husband, who is not a student of Christian Science, was stricken with partial paralysis, I became so alarmed that I called a Christian Science practitioner, asking for help for myself. Immediately the fear that had seemed to manifest itself in me was destroyed. My husband slept peacefully all the afternoon, and in the evening when he wakened he was perfectly well.
