I am very grateful for the help Christian Science gives me in meeting every problem. I had the privilege of attending the Sunday school for about ten years, and during that period I made many demonstrations.
One evening, while I was away at college, many of the girls in my sorority became ill from eating a certain food served at dinner. I awoke during the night feeling very ill, and opened Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. My eyes fell on this sentence on page 544: "Birth, decay, and death arise from the material sense of things, not from the spiritual, for in the latter Life consisteth not of the things which a man eateth." I was instantaneously healed, and went back to sleep at once. In the morning I learned that most of the girls had been sick all night, and that two had been taken to the hospital.
Through understanding man's honesty as a child of God, I quickly recovered a lost sum of money. Although I was over a hundred miles away from the place where I had lost it, it was brought to me by the finders the day after I advertised for it.
