Itis a great joy to testify to the healing power of Christian Science and to express my thankfulness for the many benefits I have received through its ministry. My heart overflows with gratitude for the many physical healings and the spiritual uplift I have gained from the study of this Science.
At the birth of our first child I was completely and permanently healed with the help of a Christian Science practitioner, after the doctors in attendance had said that they had done all they could do for me and expected me to pass on.
At another time I became desperately ill with influenza while at work. I was sent home, and a practitioner was asked for help. Work was continued for two days, but I grew no better. On the third day the practitioner came to my home and sang the words of some hymns from the Christian Science Hymnal, including all those by Mrs. Eddy. I was completely healed, and I arose and dressed myself that afternoon.
