CHRISTIAN SCIENTISTS from this and many lands filled the great Church at the Annual Meeting of The Mother Church which convened on Monday, June 6. Enthusiasm, consecration, and joy characterized the great throng which heard the reports of the Church officers. The following is a summary of the proceedings.
The opening hymn was No. 30 in the Christian Science Hymnal, "Brood o'er us with Thy shelt'ring wing," the words of which were written by our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy. The retiring President, Mr. Harry C. Browne, then read the following passages from the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy:
