"THE real jurisdiction of the world is in Mind, controlling every effect and recognizing all causation as vested in divine Mind." Thus on page 379 of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mary Baker Eddy indicates where cause, effect, and government really originate. Mankind needs only to abandon false material theories and doctrines and to awaken spiritually to accept the divine control which ultimates in the health, peace, and security that God has already bestowed upon man.
With the correct spiritual point of view, as gained through the sacred revelations of Christian Science, mortals can approach each day with absolute assurance that all is well even in the midst of rapidly changing events or dire predictions regarding the future. That God's perfect government precludes the possibility of unforeseen events believed to be beyond control is clearly explained by Mrs. Eddy in her statement (Miscellaneous Writings, p. 258), "In divine Science, God is One and All; and, governing Himself, He governs the universe."
God's man lives in the universe of Mind, where there are no finite material limitations to interrupt the movements of Mind's harmonious order of being. The safety and harmony of each idea in God's world are eternally established, each idea being essential in the rhythm of Mind's all-inclusive plan. Not one of God's ideas has a mind of its own to conflict with or work against the God-bestowed rights of any other idea. Being in complete accord with deific power, the ideas of God move with Him and thus glorify divine Principle.
