O mortal man bewildered, lost in dream,
Searching for comfort where no comfort lies,
Turn back to God, to Father-Mother Love,
Away from evidence of mortal eyes;
Turn back with childlike trust, and you shall know
The boon of shadow in a desert land,
A place of peace where tempests cannot come,
Beneath the shelter of His outstretched hand.
