Poems

After the Lecture

From the July 1958 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Now has Truth's precious seed been sown;
Let it not lie untended there.
Uproot the thorn, remove the stone,
Cherish the waking thought in prayer.

And, while the lingering guests depart,
Know only Mind's activity.
Anticipate, with joyful heart,
From least of seeds, the spreading tree.
