It is my desire to express my gratitude publicly for a healing I received a number of years ago. Since reading Mrs. Eddy's writings, I feel that I should no longer keep the light of Christian Science under a bushel, especially since others may be benefited by the experiences I had in my search for a healing religion.
I was a very young person when Christian Science was presented to me. Owing to a condition our family physician could neither diagnose nor relieve, I had never been as robust as the rest of my family. The doctor would occasionally say that I might outgrow this condition.
I was considerably helped by two treatments I received from a Christian Science practitioner, but I did not receive the instantaneous healing that I expected. However, I continued to study the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and in time I was freed from nervous headaches, indigestion, catarrh, and minor ills.
