"How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth" (Isa. 52:7). Christian Science indeed brought to me "good tidings of good." When I began its study, I learned early that God is an impartial Father-Mother, loving alike each one of His children.
At one time I had given up the attempt to further my education. I was teaching school, but I was greatly disappointed that I had not been able to take advantage of scholarships earned by my high school record. I was without funds and had no one to help me. At the end of each teaching year, there was not enough money for further study. I seemed to be in a rut; I was not making any progress and was burdened by my work.
The study of Christian Science changed all this. Ways opened for me not only to complete my education but also to have the privilege of class instruction in Christian Science. The results in my schoolwork were recognized by my superiors, and they offered me advancement. The spirit of disappointment gave place to joy.
