I am deeply grateful for Christian Science and for the enlightenment and revelation of the truth that come to us through the daily study of the Bible Lessons from the Christian Science Quarterly.
I have had many healings and have been protected when driving long distances alone. The singing of the words from Mrs. Eddy's poem "The Mother's Evening Prayer" (Poems, p. 4) has given me great comfort and help over lonely roads. The first verse of this poem reads:
"O gentle presence, peace and joy and power;
O Life divine, that owns each waiting hour,
Thou Love that guards the nestling's faltering
flight!
Keep Thou my child on upward wing tonight."
