Testimonies of Healing

From the January 1960 issue of The Christian Science Journal

It is my sincere desire to express my gratitude for Christian Science, because its teachings mean more to me than I could ever put into words.

At college I became so engrossed in intellectualism that I neglected my study of this religion. As time went on, fear and confusion entered my thinking. For two years I had suffered from a condition diagnosed as duodenal ulcers and pronounced incurable. A letter from my mother reminded me of past blessings in Christian Science. That, together with the encouragement given me by a fellow worker who was also a student of Science, led me, in my darkest hour, to seek help from a Christian Science practitioner. Through his treatment I was instantaneously healed of the smoking habit. The ulcerous condition gradually disappeared, and many false traits of character were uncovered and destroyed.

Since that time it has been progress all the way. Putting church first has established harmony and stability in our home and in other human relationships. Each member of our family has felt the healing power of Christian Science in many instances.
