When Christian Science found me and my family, we were deeply in debt, struggling to start a new manufacturing business. My husband was an alcoholic trying desperately to maintain sobriety. All of us were burdened with recurring illness, and our fourth baby was expected soon.
Today that baby is eight years old. What a transformation has taken place! The debts are paid, alcoholism has been healed, illness is practically unheard of, and the business has expanded until there are sales offices in many of the forty-eight states and in Canada. All this is due to the application of the truths we learned in Christian Science.
When the baby spoken of above was but nine days old, I awoke early in the morning to hear him manifesting signs of a severe throat and chest congestion. When I gave him his bottle, he had a difficult time. My husband and I were very fearful for him. We realized he had to have help, but I also realized that I did not want to call a doctor for him.
