IN Science and Health, Mrs. Eddy has given us the final revelation of Truth. As we study the Bible in the light of Christian Science, the statements of Truth and the parables used by Jesus take on a new meaning. They come alive. As the sincere student continues his study and cultivates spiritual consciousness, his thought and experience are brought into line with real being.
Awakening to his true selfhood as the child of God, and consistently applying the truths of Christian Science, the student begins the practice of this Science. As mortal concepts give place to spiritual ideas, and fear to a sense of Love's ministering presence, the student gains a confidence and an assurance before unknown.
On page 271 of Science and Health, Mrs. Eddy writes, "Those, who are willing to leave their nets or to cast them on the right side for Truth, have the opportunity now, as aforetime, to learn and to practise Christian healing." Those who are willing to follow Christ Jesus' example and that of our Leader have the opportunity now to take up the rewarding and satisfying work of the public practice of Christian Science.
