The student of Christian Science has received the revelation that God is Spirit and that man, His likeness, is spiritual. Enlightened faith in God's good purpose for His spiritual man is really illumined confidence in the harmony and perpetuity of divine power.
All through human history men have established moral and spiritual supremacy by overcoming the so-called forces of materialism. Surely a power unseen to material sense has been operating, as if behind the scenes. That humanity has attained to the level it has of mastery over evil beliefs and matter points to the continuous working of a good, eternally perfect agency called the law of God. This law of God, of divine Principle, is perpetually operative. To be obedient to the law of Principle is to be divinely governed.
