I write this testimony with a great sense of gratitude in my heart for our wonderful religion and for the unselfish and loyal practitioners who are available whenever they are needed.
Sometime ago I found myself in a paralyzed condition and needed help right away. I was in too much pain to do adequate prayerful work for myself. A practitioner was called, and she came to see me. The evidence was not encouraging, but as soon as the practitioner came into the room, I knew she was perfectly oblivious of that evidence. Her confidence and peacefulness seemed to fill the whole room. She assured me that all was well and that she would do work for me, which she did.
The difficulty did not yield readily, and the practitioner was called again. After we had discussed the problem a little more fully, the practitioner said to me, "It seems that you are very willful, and we shall have to work on this."
