All Christians unite in praying, "Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven" (Matt. 6:10). But the full significance of this prayer is not gained unless the petitioner has a clear mental picture of what it is like in heaven.
Mrs. Eddy gives such a picture by defining "Kingdom of Heaven" as follows (Science and Health, p. 590): "The reign of harmony in divine Science; the realm of unerring, eternal, and omnipotent Mind; the atmosphere of Spirit, where Soul is supreme."
In Christian Science, Soul is used as a term for God to convey the purity, completeness, and unquestioned supremacy of the divine nature. Consequently, "where Soul is supreme," spiritual sense is always dominant. And man in the likeness of Soul expresses freely such spiritual qualities as spontaneity, individuality, beauty, and joy.
