Harmony is a quality of God, Soul, which man possesses by reflection and which everyone can see objectified in his experience through the study and application of Christian Science.
How can one demonstrate harmony? One must put himself under the government of Soul and express the qualities of Soul in his daily life. Mrs. Eddy writes, "Man is harmonious when governed by Soul." Science and Health, p. 273;
Material sense attempts to prevent us from understanding Soul. But as we persist in our efforts to demonstrate Soul, we find the reward of understanding. The understanding of Soul brings all the elements of harmony into focus, for Soul includes perfect beauty, holiness, and happiness. The understanding of Soul reveals the nothingness of the material senses and unfolds man as formed by Soul and therefore spiritual and perfect.
