June is the month for the Annual Meeting of The Mother Church. Mrs. Eddy said of the Annual Meeting that it is a grave guardian and that it requires us to report progress.
Whether or not a member of this Church attends the Annual Meeting, the demand that progress be reported is a demand upon him for honest self-examination. Moral and spiritual progress attested by increasingly effective demonstration of the truths of Christian Science are required of those who follow Mrs. Eddy as their Leader.
One hundred years ago Mrs. Eddy discovered Christian Science. Although she is no longer with us in person, she is with us as Leader; for as she said, we find her always in her writings.
