Christian Science has been the way of Life for me for many years. When I was twenty years of age, I lived in the homes of two families who were Christian Scientists and saw Science lived, and I was greatly impressed. There came a time later when I was under great emotional stress and felt that life was not worth living.
My thinking had become so irrational that I was at the point of thinking how I might destroy two other people and myself. At this point I began to read Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and gradually this attitude changed. I attained a sense of peace and dominion which has remained with me.
I am grateful for training as a nurse at the Christian Science Benevolent Association, San Francisco, California. At one time while I was in service there a very painful condition manifested itself in one of my legs, and I was unable to walk. I was placed on nursing care, and a practitioner was called.
