PROPHECY

Isaiah 32:2

From the August 1967 issue of The Christian Science Journal

"And a man shall be
As an hiding place from the wind,
And a covert from the tempest;
As rivers of water in a dry place,
As the shadow of a great rock in a weary land."

Prophecy is fulfilled.

Deep in man
Strength marries meekness;
Courage rises
With the face of serenity;
Poise and power in man commune;
And gratitude is the wife of praise.

O, hide in the shadow of a great purpose!
Drink the waters of expectancy!

Deep in man
Calm and rejoicing are come together;
The might and womanhood of God
Are one in man.
Turn to them.

In you prophecy is fulfilled.

Man is as a hiding place...
In you—the rivers, the covert, the rock.
Find them.
