Mrs. Eddy writes, "For God to know, is to be; that is, what He knows must truly and eternally exist." No and Yes, p. 16; What God knows us to be, we are right now—God's likeness. In the Bible we read that Christ Jesus said, "No man knoweth the Son, but the Father." Matt. 11:27; What God knows of man is the only concept of him we can afford to entertain. Jesus' statement concluded with the words, "Neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him."
In the light of Christian Science we see that our understanding of this complete knowing, the Father knowing the Son and the Son knowing the Father, is needed if we are to express man's God-given dominion. Jesus demonstrated this knowing in such full measure that the Christ, the true idea of sonship, characterized and directed his every thought and action. In the measure that we discern and express the Christ-idea, which includes all true concepts, will our humanity be purified and transformed.
For instance, as we gain and claim, through the revelation of the Christ, the right idea of home, which is purely spiritual, we shall manifest humanly the highest sense of home, evidencing beauty, order, and harmony. It may be said the right idea of transportation is the truth of the ever presence of God's ideas. As we discern and claim this spiritual fact, also revealed by the Christ, we shall have with us the orderly unfoldment of transportation manifest as safe, orderly travel, completely free from complications or delay. It is through the Christ, then, that we approach the Father, whose knowing produces all divine reality.
