Obedience is intact

From the April 1981 issue of The Christian Science Journal

The power of Christian Science healing proceeds from God's constant control of what exists. Therefore, every Christianly scientific healing demonstrates in some degree the intactness of man's subordination to divine law. The operation of this law has never actually been evaded or eclipsed by the sins or sicknesses of humanity.

Implicit obedience is the effect of one infinite, unerring Principle—sinless Soul, omniscient Mind, God. The divine One is consistently good. His will is carried out in irresistible law, enforcing perfection throughout all His creation and maintaining His likeness, man.

Accepting wholly Godlike being and action is obedience. In reflected being there is no malfunction, stoppage, breakdown; no transgression, guilt, or need for punishment. Whatever expresses immortal substance, intelligence, and life can do no other than exactly mirror perfection and eternality. Whatever exists to manifest goodness, grace, and blessedness can reflect only purity and integrity.
