Standing in His presence—a round-table discussion of current court cases

From the February 1990 issue of The Christian Science Journal

In the midst of fast-moving events it's not always easy to keep a clear perspective on what's actually happening. But that perspective, a clear sense of what's at stake and what one is standing for, may be the thing most needed to ensure victory.

Currently in the United States several court cases are under way in an effort to prosecute Christian Scientists for relying on Christian healing for their families. Journal readers who deeply value the spiritual healing they have experienced in their own lives are naturally profoundly interested in these cases. Many are praying about them literally daily.

Recently several people who have followed the cases closely gathered in the Journal offices to share their viewpoints in regard to what the cases mean, not only for Christian Scientists but for mankind as a whole.
