I was only two years old when my parents found out about Christian Science, and the change in my life that began then has given me enormous joy, progress, and fulfillment.
As a child I had quick healings of measles, chicken pox, scarlet fever, impetigo, and occasional cuts and abrasions. Wonderful healings have continued throughout my life—in high school, college, the military, married life, and in the business world. Each experience has been progressive, never leaving me where it found me but always moving me forward toward a better understanding of my true spiritual identity.
Some time ago, after I had moved well over a thousand miles for a job transfer, it became obvious that the position for which I had moved was not giving me the joy I had expected, nor was I growing in the job. In discussing the problem with a Christian Science practitioner, I soon understood that I should have no regrets about past or present job situations but that I should rejoice, knowing that God is always with me, directing me. Also, I saw that I needed to listen for His guidance.
