Walking in the light of the Lord

[Original in German]

From the August 1990 issue of The Christian Science Journal

"Come ye, and let us walk in the light of the Lord."Isa. 2:5. God's love calls us, enabling us, as His children, as children of light, to recognize and radiate His glory.

"Come ye"! Even though it goes out to all mankind, this call from God is not always heard, because we are distracted by the "noise" of the material senses. Yet whoever hears this call and follows it is walking in the light of Truth. This individual doesn't just free himself from the darkness but helps all mankind to come to the light of the Lord.

It is asked, "Where do evil thoughts come from?" Christian Science enables us to prove that they come, like evil itself, from nowhere. In truth, evil has no origin, no existence, because God is the only power and presence. And Christ, Truth, enables us to perceive the spiritual reality instead of the deception of evil, which argues that man is material rather than spiritual.
