I will look upon Your kingdom

From the January 2022 issue of The Christian Science Journal

The whole universe is a symphony,
without time or untimeliness;
where everything is an eternal
expression of joy;
where only good
is evidenced in us,
in everyone, every day;
where good much more abounds;
where Life reigns.

Oh, my desire, Father,
is to look upon this kingdom
with Godlike sight!
To see in all Your children
Your image reflected
and this glorious heaven
where all abide.

Give me, then, Your sight,
revive my perception,
that it may uncover the hidden,
that is now plain for You to see,
that in everyone I may see
as in a faithful mirror,
the image of You,
that I also reflect.

And when I understand that
my prayer has been answered,
I will look upon Your kingdom
with understanding that is united
to eternal harmony.
