My four-year-old daughter and I were in our car heading to the park, when she noticed I was feeling worried and asked if she could sing a song. The first words she sang were, “God is the hum of life.”
Kids have the most wonderful and helpful things to say! The purity behind their words can often lift our thoughts and bring healing.
I thought about the word hum. The car engine was humming as we drove. The car wasn’t worried if it would make it—the engine gave the car the energy to get there. The hum was an indication of the power and life of the engine.
