Poem

You are light

From the June 2026 issue of The Christian Science Journal

When the way feels dim,
and your heart yearns to see—
pause.
The divine light you seek
already fills you,
for you express this light.

Not a flicker you must fan,
not a torch to carry—
but the still, steady gleam
of divine presence
shining through.

This light need not be earned.
It’s never lost,
never gone.

It is God’s reflection,
your true self—
whole,
innocent,
at peace.
So when fear presses in,
or the path seems hidden,
be still.
Let Love lead.
Each step is lit,
each moment guided.

Arise now—
not with effort,
but with knowing.

You are God’s radiant child.
You are light.
Shine.
