Testimonies of Healing

I first read the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, out of curiosity. It so impressed me as giving one an understanding of God and His law which, if put into practice, would meet all one's needs, that I resolved to try it without mentioning the fact to anyone; and if I could not prove it to have nothing more to do with it.

I wish to express my gratitude to Christian Science for what it has done for me and is doing for all mankind. Through the loving help of a Christian Science practitioner I was healed in one treatment of what is called ulcerated stomach.

I had reached a state where unhappiness, discontent, resentment, self-pity, jealousy, and hatred seemed to reign supreme; and not liking it, and finding no solace in my religious connections, I began asking questions about Christian Science. The loving Christian Scientists I approached always gave such sweet and consistent answers, and were so compassionate with my problems, that I realized they possessed something true and livable.

I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science. I had a remarkable experience in proving the ever-presence, power, and protection of God as taught in Christian Science.

Words cannot express my gratitude for Christian Science. I had suffered for about fifteen years.

Words are inadequate to express my deep gratitude for Christian Science. I am very grateful to God; to Christ Jesus; and to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy; also for our literature and the church services and the Reading Rooms.

It is impossible for me to tell all that Christian Science has done for me, but I desire to express my gratitude for some of the many blessings that I have enjoyed through this beautiful religion. It was in 1914 that I received my first healing through Christian Science treatment.

For nearly nineteen years we have enjoyed the benefits and freedom derived from the study of Christian Science. Our gratitude is measureless.

Twenty-six years ago, when I was suffering from a great sorrow and ill health, a dear relative said to me, "I know if you would read 'Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures' by Mary Baker Eddy, you would get help. " I agreed to do as I was told; and as I began with the Preface, the first words my eyes fell upon were, "To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings.

About three years ago I had a beautiful healing of a broken arm entirely through the power of Truth, as we are taught to apply it in our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," by our dear Leader, Mary Baker Eddy. I caught my heel on the top step of a long flight of stairs and fell heavily into the hall below.
