Testimonies of Healing

About three years ago I had a beautiful demonstration in Christian Science. I was one of a house party of friends at a little resort on the California coast.

I first became interested in Christian Science during the summer of 1914. Out of courtesy to a friend who was visiting us I attended a Wednesday evening testimony meeting.

With a heart grateful to the almighty Father I testify to the divine healing power. While cleaning my house I sustained an injury to my left hand.

I wish to add my song of gratitude to that of unnumbered thousands for the many blessings of Christian Science. I became interested in its study in the fall of 1918, when my mother was healed of Spanish influenza after being given up by doctors.

For the past twenty years I have resided in a small town in a western state; and the later years have been spent among people, serving in various ways. I seemed compelled to turn to such lowly service, as my husband was incapacitated through ill health and could not provide adequate support for us all.

In Psalms we are admonished, "Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts. " And so I feel impelled to use the channel provided by our periodicals to voice my deep gratitude for God's goodness and for His constant care and guidance.

I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude to Christian Science for what it has done for my family and for me during the past twenty years. I shall always endeavor to be grateful to God and to His servant, Mary Baker Eddy, that I was led to this beautiful truth, which heals and saves.

I desire to do my duty to God and to Christian Science, also to Mary Baker Eddy, by expressing my sincere gratitude for my healing in Christian Science. When I was three years old, I had an abscess in one of my ears and suffered intensely.

I wish to express my gratitude for all the blessings we have received through the study of Christian Science. We became interested in this Science during the summer of 1917 through the healing of our daughter, who was then fifteen years old.

It is with a deep sense of gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me that I want to tell others what it can also do for them. About five years ago I found myself in a very bad state of depression which I was unable to throw off.
