Testimonies of Healing

My gratitude for Christian Science is so great that I should like to tell of a few of the things it has done for me. My mother, who had been an invalid as long as I could remember, was instantly healed when I was a young girl.

With deep gratitude, I wish to express my sincere thanks for the spiritual understanding of the Bible, as taught in Christian Science, which has enabled me to destroy a sense of fear and worry by knowing that God is All-power. Our little daughter was born almost three years ago under very harmonious conditions.

I should like to express gratitude for a healing I experienced this past summer. Quite suddenly, I was taken with intense pain in the end of the spine, accompanied by headache and severe pain in the back of the neck.

It is with deep gratitude that I offer the testimony of my healing in Christian Science. Over sixteen years ago it healed me of very severe neurasthenia of more than three years' standing, which brought with it insomnia and many accompanying ills.

I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science and all that it has done for me. While visiting in Dallas, Texas, about three years ago, I had a severe attack of rheumatism in my left knee.

I am indeed grateful for this privilege of expressing my gratitude for Christian Science, for what it has done for me, for what it is doing for all the world, and for what it will do in time to come. Christian Science came to us when we most needed it; and it has never left, always being "a very present help in trouble.

I would like to add my bit of gratitude in the following testimony. During the last fifteen years Christian Science has proved a very present help in time of trouble, and has never failed to relieve every discordant condition which has been presented to me.

With deepest gratitude to God, to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, and to our dear Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, I send this testimony in the hope that it will be of help to others who may be struggling. In April, 1917, I applied for enlistment in the United States Army and was accepted the following month.

Christian Science brings healing and comfort; and if mankind but realized this, all would seek to share the benefits it brings. It had long seemed to me that there was something lacking in the teachings of the church to which I belonged, for we had Jesus' definite words, "These signs shall follow them that believe.

Christian Science came to me while dwelling in the shadows of unbelief and fear. All my life I had been searching for an understanding of God and had reached the conclusion that an honest seeker must be satisfied with an unknown God.
