Testimonies of Healing

I herewith desire to express my gratitude for the benefits received through Christian Science, and wish to relate briefly a few experiences. I awoke one morning feeling a pain in my right upper arm.

I cannot find words in which to express my gratitude for all the blessings that have come to me and mine through the study of Christian Science. I was brought up by Christian parents and attended a denominational church and Sunday school, but even as a child I questioned its teachings and could not accept them, so I grew up to womanhood without finding a religion that satisfied.

Many years ago, according to physical and medical testimony I had reached the end of all hope. I was under such an extreme claim of inflammatory rheumatism that I could sleep only under the influence of opiates and could not dress or feed myself without assistance.

I wish to testify to the many blessings that have come to me from the study of Christian Science. For a long period I had enjoyed perfect health, until during last autumn a very severe attack of what the doctors would call neuritis save me some work to do but with the help of a kind practitioner it was overcome in three days.

Before coming into Christian Science, and as far back as I can remember, I was subject to ill health. When I was thirteen years old my parents were advised by several physicians to take me to another state for a change of climate.

I have been interested in Christian Science about eight years. It is the greatest blessing that has ever come into my life, and I am very grateful for it.

Christian Science came into my life about fourteen years ago when I was just starting out into the world, not having any human father or mother to help me along life's journey. Christian Science proved to me that there is only one Father-Mother God, and that if we truly rely on Him He shows us the way.

When I attempt to write my appreciation for all that Christian Science has done for me, I find that I have so much to be grateful for that I hardly know where to begin. Before coming into some understanding of Christian Science.

I am sending my testimony with the hope that it will help some one who is hungering and thirsting for the truth. I joined a denominational church when quite young, but was never truly satisfied.

Christian Science has brought me many blessings, and I am grateful for the opportunity to tell of some of them. I became interested in Christian Science about eight years ago through seeing its effect on others and attending the church services.
