Testimonies of Healing

I should like to express my gratitude for the understanding of God and of man's relation to Him which I have gained in Christian Science. If anyone had told me two years ago that I would be a Christian Scientist to-day, I should have said it was impossible.

Owing as I do all my happiness to the earnest study of Christian Science, I wonder that I have never before written to say so. Four years ago, when I first became interested in Mrs.

I have benefited in so many ways by the study and practice of Christian Science that it is difficult to say in which way the blessing has been greatest. I was first healed by this wonderful truth about eighteen years ago, but as the healing was quickly and easily brought about, I did not heed it very much.

For the help received through reading in our periodicals the testimonies of healing through Christian Science, I wish to express my gratitude. Not only for my own healing through the power of Truth am I grateful, but also for a better understanding of the truth which has enabled me to contribute in a small degree to the harmony of the world, through the more harmonious relation which is apparent between others and myself.

There came to my thought two very good reasons for making public this experience in Christian Science healing. It may help another mother to replace a condition of fearfulness and its effects in the home with the peace which passeth all understanding, and it will assist me in the expression of the gratitude I feel to God for this additional proof of His ever presence and availability in time of need.

When I awoke last Thanksgiving morning, the thought came to me how grateful I was to God, and to our dear Learder, Mrs. Eddy, for this revelation which she has given to the world in her book "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," and in her other writings.

For all the benefits received through the study of the Christian Science literature, and for the help given me by Christian Scientists, I am more than grateful. I have been delivered from the fear of blindness, from nervousness in its worst form, from kidney and bowel trouble, and from many other ailments; and business problems have been solved.

Ten years have passed since I first heard of Christian Science. Heart-burdened and homesick, wandering in the wilderness of material sense, my eyes caught sight of the words "Christian Science Reading Room" on the window of a room fitted up for that purpose in Hamilton, Ohio.

It is with pleasure that I express my gratitude for the blessings which have come to me through Christian Science. Up to the age of seventeen years I suffered from kidney trouble and catarrh.
