Testimonies of Healing

I first felt the healing touch of Truth and Love through Christian Science about seven years ago. A dear friend, who had long been a close companion, and whose continued suffering I had witnessed, returned that fall from a visit to San Francisco, and I saw such a marked improvement in her that I was eager to know what had helped her so much.

About a year ago my son, who was then living in Streator, Ill. , wrote me that his health was failing, and that his physicians had advised him to give up his position and come home, as they could do nothing more for him.

Having received blessings which words can never express, I submit the following testimony with deepest gratitude for the help I have received through Christian Science. For several years I had been associated with Christian Scientists, but believing myself to be satisfied with what I received in the church of which I was then a member, I did not investigate.

I would like to tell of the illumination and joy which has come to me through Christian Science. I was induced to try it as a remedial agent when near the end of earthly existence, as it seemed.

The inexpressible joy and great blessings of divine Love are offered to all who are ready to receive them, and already there are thousands who have planted their feet on the solid rock of Truth and are rejoicing in the Christ-healing. They that have come up out of great tribulation are rejoicing in the truth discovered and revealed to the world by our dear Leader, Mrs.

It was in November, 1906. that I was healed through Christian Science.

I HAVE wanted for a long time to tell how much happiness has come to us through the study of Christian Science. At the age of seventeen I studied for my communion, and afterwards many religious questions came to my mind.

I am indeed grateful to God, and to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for Christian Science and what it has done for me.

Christian Science came to me at a time of deepest need. I had had a long hospital experience, being in one in New York city for surgery and special treatment at two different times, without receiving the help I so much needed.
