Testimonies of Healing

While skiing one winter day, I broke my wrist. I felt this was an opportunity for me to prove how much I understood about Christian Science.

Many proofs of God's care for me and the members of my family have been evident since I was introduced to the study of Christian Science and made it my way of life. For the past few years I've worked as a Christian Science nurse.

One day my ear hurt real bad. Mom was very busy, but she told me to remember who I was.

" Kindred tastes, motives, and aspirations are necessary to the formation of a happy and permanent companionship" (Science and Health, p. 60 ).

One night I woke up at 3 a. m with symptoms of the flu.

The Bible states in Psalms: "I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings.

I have wanted to write a testimony for a long time, because I am very grateful for so many healings. I have not always been a Christian Scientist, but I have always been very Bibleoriented, in that when I was a child we were encouraged to read the Bible daily, pray daily, and go to church every Sunday.

Years ago I began to have pain in my knees. Many times it was unbearable.

Recently I had what appeared to be a serious gum infection. I experienced a lot of discomfort in both eating and swallowing.

I would like to share an experience I had a few years ago, which proved to me that "trials are proofs of God's care" ( Science and Health, p. 66 ).
