Testimonies of Healing
Christian Science came into my life seventy years ago. At that time I lived in a mining town in Colorado.
For a life filled with the benefits of Christian Science, I express my gratitude. One time I suffered for several days from partial inability to lift my head and move my back.
The healing power of Love played such an important part in the regeneration of our teen-age son several years ago that I feel I must share this experience. There had been a number of unhappy experiences during his senior year in high school, one of which led to his running away from home for eight days, leaving no trace of his whereabouts.
Each time a Christian Science periodical arrives, I turn first to the testimonies, and I have been helped so often that I know it is high time that I submit one of my own. I have had convincing evidences of the healing power of Christian Science in healings of pneumonia, sprained ankles, and the solution of human relationship problems.

I am grateful for the progress of the building of the new Christian Science Center in Boston. It is my desire that Christian Science be the foundation of my life even as God is its Principle, and that my consciousness be built on the rock of Christ, Truth.
"Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him" ( I Cor. 2:9 ).
In May, 1966, some form of malady seemed to overwhelm me, and I appeared to be getting thinner and thinner. Despite much good, prayerful work by my wife and encouragement from friends, the condition seemed to persist.
"Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases" ( Ps. 103:2,3 ).
After receiving the benefits of Christian Science for nearly fifty years, I feel it is about time I expressed my gratitude in our periodicals. I first heard of Christian Science in my freshman year in college when I lived in the home of a Christian Scientist.
