Testimonies of Healing
My gratitude is very great for a healing of scalds when a large pot of boiling water was tipped over both my knees and thighs and down one leg. The experience was almost overwhelming, and I felt like a little child who wanted to creep into someone's arms and be comforted.
Many proofs of God's care have benefited me for more than fifty years through the study and application of Christian Science. My testimony that appeared in the Sentinel before World War II told of my healing of asthma.
Christian Science has been a miracle in my life. It is with great humility and relief that I here recount a few of the blessings that have come to me from my study of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.
I am especially grateful to have been healed of an infected growth on my head. This condition was accompanied with pains, and sometimes my eyes were affected.

At the age of two I was enrolled in a Christian Science Sunday School and attended regularly for over fifteen years. In my teens, however, I rebelled against the disciplines of Christian Science and against the restrictions I felt it imposed upon me.
As I was brought up in a home where the practice of Christian Science was the way of Life, and we have raised our two children through the application of this same inspired truth, I have often wondered how parents get along without the support and protection this precious religion provides. When our first child was born in 1947, I was not able to find suitable nourishment to satisfy him.
I am deeply grateful that my mother enrolled my two sisters and me in a Christian Science Sunday School when we were very young, for it was here that the Bible, and Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, became my most precious friends.
Five days before I was to have Christian Science class instruction, I drove my motorcycle into a road divider. Upon collision I was thrown clear of the motorcycle.
My first contact with Christian Science came when I was seventeen. I found Science and Health by Mrs.
