Testimonies of Healing

Gratitude is an expression of thankfulness for benefits received. A recent experience I am grateful for is the healing of a painful and unsightly swelling in my face.

When I was small, I went to a Christian Science Sunday School for a while. Through the years, at different times, I thought about the teaching I had received, but I did not go to church.

I wish to express my gratitude for the many blessings I have received since I began to study Christian Science thirty-one years ago. The religious concepts of the faith in which I was brought up did not satisfy me, and at the age of sixteen I left my former church.

As a child I regularly attended the Sunday Schools of two different Protestant denominations at different periods, and when about twelve years old, I was confirmed in one of them. I did not learn anything that I can recall about God or prayer.
