Testimonies of Healing
Christian Science is truly the Science of the Christ, Truth, and I am grateful beyond words for its great message. I had the privilege of attending the Christian Science Sunday School from an early age, and it was there, as well as in my home, that I was taught the practical application of this Science to meet my every need.
The study of Christian Science has given me happiness and confidence in good. The happiness springs from some knowledge of the nature of God, learned in the Christian Science Sunday School.
God has been so very good to me that I wish to give humble, loving thanks through our periodicals. From the time I began to study Christian Science a few years after my graduation from high school, it has been my chief interest.
It is my sincere desire to express my gratitude for Christian Science, because its teachings mean more to me than I could ever put into words. At college I became so engrossed in intellectualism that I neglected my study of this religion.
This testimony is gratefully given in acknowledgment of God's power and glory revealed to me through the study of Christian Science. Although I had the privilege of attending a Christian Science Sunday School from infancy until the age of twenty, I did not make the truths of this Science my own.
My mother became interested in Christian Science when her sister had been given but a short time to live, and it was my mother's deep desire to help her. This sister was healed permanently through Christian Science and is now a practitioner.
My parents became interested in Christian Science when I was nine years old, and I began attending the Christian Science Sunday School. For over forty-nine years I have loved this beautiful religion and have experienced many healings through the application of its teachings.
My heart is overflowing with gratitude to those who have helped me and who are helping me to understand Christian Science better. I feel unspeakably thankful to God for Christ Jesus, the master Christian, and for our Leader, Mrs.
We have had many wonderful healings in our family through the application of Christian Science over the past thirty-one years. So-called childhood diseases, rheumatic fever, and an incurable bone condition were completely overcome.
My interest in Christian Science developed through the healing of a friend. Although I did not fully realize it at the time, what I was really seeking was a knowledge of Truth.
