
Testimonies of Healing
Because I am becoming more conscious every day of God's love, protection, and guidance, I wish to offer this testimony of sincere gratitude in the hope that other families may be benefited through the study of Christian Science as ours has been. I am grateful that as a child I was taught the practical truths of Christian Science in our home and also in the Sunday School.
I am most grateful to God for the blessings I have received through the application of Christian Science, and I take this means of stating my conviction that Christian Science will solve our every problem. Some time ago I was scheduled to take an air flight to a distant city, and a change of planes at a midway airport was necessary.
Thirty-three years ago I suffered a mental and physical breakdown. For three years I consulted one doctor after another with no success.
The fruits of Christian Science in my life have been many. Through love for the teachings of this Science, I have been divinely inspired and strengthened since my first days as a pupil in the Sunday School.
Christian Science healed me of a glandular deficiency over twenty years ago. Specialists at a well-known clinic had told me that I should take medicine three times a day and have a complete physical examination every six months.
As I think over the many years that Christian Science has answered our family's every need, it is difficult to select particular instances of healing, for there have been so many. I can list three cases in my own experience of what might be called mental surgery.
I too should like to express my sincere gratitude for Christian Science and for the improvement it has brought about in my thinking over the past ten years. There have been many evidences of growth in grace, as well as proofs of God's presence and power, in the overcoming of fear, limitation, and false traits of character.

I cannot delay further to show my appreciation of Christian Science and of its Discoverer and Founder, Mary Baker Eddy, the God-appointed revelator of the truth to this age. At the age of eight I was enrolled in a Christian Science Sunday School, where the fundamental truths of this religion were implanted in my consciousness, and they have never left it.
