I have been attending the Christian Science Sunday School for twelve years, and have had many proofs of God's allness. I wish to tell of a recent healing, in the hope that it will help others. For four years I had suffered from a nervous trouble, brought on by what physicians termed a toxic goiter. At thirteen I was taken out of school for a year. After that I was in school only part of the time, doing very poor work, for I seemed unable to concentrate on anything. I grew steadily worse, and my disposition became unbearable. In my second year in high school I was taken away again and was examined by three physicians, all giving the same report—that I was in a critical condition. They said that I was in the first stages of St. Vitus's dance and had lost control over my actions, my mind also being affected. With the kind and loving help of a Christian Science practitioner I was out of bed in two months and a half, with not a trace of anything discordant left.
To say that I am grateful for this great truth, brought again to us by our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, is not enough; but I shall try to prove it by my daily living.— Seattle, Washington.
