Several years ago, with the help of a practitioner, I was healed of pleurisy, pneumonia of both lungs, and threatened tuberculosis. During treatment for these ailments a baby, weighing two pounds and six ounces, was born prematurely. Through God's great love and care she is now a robust, normal child, romping and playing with the other children. The four children have been healed quickly of such complaints as measles, chicken pox, bronchial colds; and one boy at the age of two years was healed of a bowel difficulty in less than twenty-four hours.
I desire to tell of the latest healing among the children of what might be termed severe ailments. The eldest child, a girl of nine, had a severe attack of eczema. Assistance was called for and given by a practitioner. Within three weeks the child was healed. She soon returned to school. The school physician asked her if she had had medical help. She replied, "No;" and he asked who examined her. She replied that the city health doctor had examined her. He then asked what the doctor had pronounced the ailment, and she replied, "Eczema." He then examined her and remarked that it was all off now, and sent her to her room. There is no evidence remaining that she had the disease.
I am so grateful to God for this wonderful healing; and oh, how grateful I am that Mrs. Eddy was a fit channel for this wonderful, God sent Christian Science! I am grateful that she was led to establish the office of practitioners. I seem to realize more than ever the value of their kind help and comfort in the hour of trial. —Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
